High-performance sensor for laser welding monitoring LWM8.5
This is the conclusion of an examination of the quality of laser welding from a physics perspective.
■ Monitoring of different molten materials such as aluminum and copper is possible through the principle of atomic inherent spectral line measurement. ■ The defect detection capability is enhanced by individual optical imaging of each channel of the LWM8.5 sensor. ■ The addition of a near-infrared channel enables monitoring in high-temperature processes. ■ By applying an inverse aperture during in-process review to the added temperature (infrared light) sensor waveform, monitoring of low-temperature processes is possible. ■ The LWM8.5 sensor does not require optical axis adjustment. A formal release is planned soon. We look forward to inquiries from customers. Whether you are familiar with the previous LWM or are trying it for the first time, please try the latest LWM4.0 and LWM8.5.
